Re: Turkey Chokes
I'm using a Briley choke on my Remington 11-87. Its fine, but not anything to rave about. I hear good things about the Undertaker chokes.
I am a hard core #6 shot shooter for spring turkeys. Some research I've seen says #5 are better since they carry more energy downrange, but I like the number of shot you get with 6's. No matter how careful I am, it seems I am usually shooting thru enough brush that i am glad to have lots of pellets vs more energy. If I mostly hunted field edges, then 5's would be my choice. I also go with a heavier than lead load. Pricey, but worth it.
Although 4's will work, it seems like people lose more birds with 4's than other sizes.
Just my $.02

Remington Day PATTERNING RESULTS!
Wingmaster HD 3.5" #6 shot 1 3/4oz! AMAZING!!!!
We tested the new load at Alexander's Range during our Remington Day event on Saturday. Shooting heavy sheet metal at 40 yards, the HD went right through and actually had so much energy that it blew the target right off the stand!! Lead loads didn't have any where near the penetration.
And the Pattern - several different kinds of Xtra Full Turkey Tubes all were able to produce extremely dense patterns! 30-40 pellets in the Neck and Head!
Check out these Pictures: http://www.vonniessptgds.com/REmingtonEvent08.html
AND Check out Remington's Info on Wingmaster HD: http://www.remington.com/products/ammunition/shotshell/wingmaster_HD.asp
These are available in several different loads, AND have an available rebate.
***We have plenty of these in stock at Vonnie's!!***

Re: Turkey Chokes
the Wingmaster HD 3" 1 5/8oz #6 was the best load of all in my gun. I tried close to 10 different loads and it was the best and the last I tried. Just once let it be the 1st load to try so its not so expensive.
